Salman Khan in Kathmandu:

Jan 19, 2018-Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan, who was last seen in the blockbuster Tiger Zinda Hai, is set to arrive in Kathmandu for the musical tour, “Da-Bangg: The Tour”, which will take place at Tundikhel ground on March 10.

The tour, which kicked off last year, has already entertained several cities around the world, including Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, London and Birmingham.

To confirm the superstar’s arrival, the two main organisers of the tour, Sohail Khan Entertainments and JA Events, and the partner organiser from Nepal, ODC Entertainment, organised a press meet at the Capital's Soaltee Crowne Plaza on Friday.

Sohail Khan, the founder of Sohail Khan Entertainments--also an actor and the younger brother of Salman, briefed the media about the extravaganza that is to come.

“We are extremely delighted to bring Da-Bangg: The Tour in Kathmandu for the first time. I am sure the entire team is more than excited than the Nepali people, because Nepal is like our extended home, our neighbours, where we are always showered with immense love and support,” he said.

“The entire Bollywood industry credits Nepal for being a part of its success story and post the 2015 earthquake, we want to promote Nepal’s tourism as much as we can.”

Also joining Salman on stage will be a group of actors, dancers and entertainers, including Daisy Shah, Sonakshi Sinha, Kriti Sanon, Prabhu Deva, Meet Bros and Manish Paul.

Simant Gurung of ODC Entertainment, which has already organised the huge events with top celebrities like Bryan Adams, Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) and Atif Aslam to Nepal, said besides Bollywood entertainers, they are also planning to line up some Nepali artists on the stage.

"The show's tickets will be up for sale from February onward and the prices will range between Rs 2,000 and Rs 10,000," Gurung said.
